​ Deborah Barone creates beautiful oil paints on canvas, and also uses prints on metal to capture the radiance of color and hues of her subjects.  She is an emerging artist, who participated for the first time in the 2018 Art Under the Oaks, at Alden Lane Nursery, winning the grand prize competition.  Her work has been shown in local galleries, such as the Harrington Gallery in Pleasanton.

Deborah spent her working career as a Speech and Language Pathologist, predominantly in the schools, but also in Rehab Facilities in California and Hawaii.  Deborah grew up in the San Ramon Valley.  Inspired by the beauty of the East Bay and travels throughout the West Coast, Hawaii, Sierras, Europe, and lovely vineyards from Livermore to Provence and Australia, her paintings reflect her love for these beautiful areas.   “I feel like I’m just getting started on this journey of expressing through painting, love and gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us”.
